Testimonials
What our customers say
In the words of the businesses we have handled transfers, leases and sponsorships for.
We successfully worked with RTM Networks to buy a legacy IPv4/24 and receive a PI IPv6 /48. RTM is our LIR Sponsor and and the whole process was really smooth. Everything worked out the easy way without any troubles in transfer of the IP Ranges. We continue to work with them as LIR sponsor and infrastructure for one of the backbones we are connected now. Special thanks Rick for helping us in setting up the mesh connected backbones and bird. After decades in the business a great experience with cool people. Thank you for doing a great job.
For me, what sets RTM Networks apart is the people. Rick combines professionalism with a genuinely personal approach: he is direct, friendly and someone you can rely on, and he and his team understand this industry and take responsibility for getting things done. Working with them over several years has been a very positive experience, and we have seen it from both sides. Our relationship actually began with RTM buying from us: we sold them several /24 IPv4 prefixes, and every deal was handled so professionally, clearly and responsibly that it was easy for us. Later the tables turned and we leased a /24 from them, a practical and economical solution for our business. Seller first, customer later: either way, I recommend RTM Networks with confidence.
In twelve years of working with Rick, he has never once let me down. Since 2014 he has helped me enormously, in many different ways, and he has always been incredibly helpful, friendly and trustworthy, ready to think along or lend a hand whenever I needed it. When it comes to RIPE, networking or anything else in network infrastructure, his knowledge and experience are excellent, but it is his reliability I value most: he is the one I know I can always count on. Rick and RTM Networks are people you can truly depend on. Rick, thank you for everything over the years. I really appreciate our cooperation and hope we will keep working together for many more.
In about a year as a customer of RTM, starting out through their sister company Bakker IT, I have not run into a single hiccup. Rick is truly dedicated to giving his customers an excellent experience, and you can tell they are after a long-term relationship, with everything in place to make it one. RTM is both my LIR and my lease-to-own sponsor for IPv4 space. Prices are honest, support is great and quick to react, and the addresses are spotless. You can't go wrong with RTM Networks!
Thanks to Rick, our entire network segment was transferred without a single issue. He is a great help with anything to do with RIPE, whether registrations, transfers or routing. We started doing business with RTM Networks over a year ago, when we leased an IPv4 network from them.
I never had to wait two days or more for a reply to a single email. So far I have only dealt with Rick, who answers fast and has been very helpful. Good people, reasonable prices, and everything works. I buy from Austria.
How it works
Usually live within hours of payment
From your first message to address space you can announce.
- Step 1
You get in touch
Tell us the subnet size and the duration for which you need it.
- Step 2
Quote and terms
We get back to you with pricing for your request. This usually takes 1-3 business hours.
- Step 3
Contract
Once agreed, we draw up the contract and send it out for signing.
- Step 4
Invoice and payment
When the contract is signed, we send out the invoice.
- Step 5
Usually live within hours of payment
We usually have the RPKI/ROA, the rDNS and, if you need one, the Letter of Authorization in place within hours of payment.
Indicative timings for straightforward requests, not a guarantee. Larger blocks, incomplete documentation or registry processing can take longer.
Every step in detailRequirements
What we need to get started
Have these ready and the quote usually comes back in 1-3 business hours.
- Expected durationMonth to month or one to four years. Longer terms cost less per month.
- Company detailsA registered business entity for the agreement. We do not lease to personal accounts.
- Intended useWhat will run on the addresses. We ask because clean space depends on knowing what it is used for.
- How you will announce itYour own ASN, your data center's ASN, or a GRE tunnel from us. Any of the three works.
- Block sizeWe lease from a single /24 up to a /19. Most networks filter anything smaller than a /24; for fewer addresses we route a smaller range over a tunnel.
- Where you will use itThe country your servers and users are in. Leases come from our own RIPE NCC address space, and space registered with ARIN or APNIC is for sale only.

FAQ
Leasing questions
How small a block can I lease?
From a single /24, which is 256 addresses, up to a /19. Anything longer than a /24 is filtered by most networks on the public internet, so smaller fragments cannot be announced reliably.
Can I announce leased space with my own ASN?
Yes. We issue a Letter of Authorization for the block, which your upstream or data center uses to accept the announcement. If you do not have an ASN, your provider can usually announce on theirs, or you can route the space through one of our GRE tunnels instead.
Are the addresses clean?
We check blocklist status before handover and monitor the major RBLs for the duration of the lease. If a listing appears we work through delisting with you. Reputation depends on what you send, so keeping it clean is a shared responsibility.
What happens at the end of a lease?
You can end a monthly lease on 30 days' notice. A fixed term of a year or more runs to the end of the agreed period, then renews three months at a time until you end it with at least three full calendar months' notice. We do not end a lease on notice: when you renew, you keep the same block. That is the Block Continuity Guarantee, in our Terms of Service and included in every lease. If you would rather end up owning the block, lease to own makes it yours over time, on terms agreed in writing before the lease starts. If you do end a lease, we ask that you stop announcing the block on the end date so it can be reissued.
Can I use leased addresses with a cloud provider?
Often, yes. AWS, Google Cloud, OVHcloud and others support bringing your own IP, each with its own requirements and nearly all from a /24. Azure wants the block registered in your own name, and Oracle Cloud's list of accepted statuses leaves out ASSIGNED PA, the usual status of leased space, so check those two with us first. Where a provider has no BYOIP, as at Hetzner Cloud or Scaleway, we can deliver the space over a tunnel instead. Our BYOIP guides cover each provider; tell us which one you have in mind and we will confirm before you commit.
Do you set up RPKI?
Yes. We create the ROA for your announcement as part of setup, so the route validates instead of being flagged invalid by the growing number of networks that enforce RPKI.
Can I rent IPv4 addresses?
Yes. Renting and leasing IPv4 are the same thing: you pay a monthly fee to use addresses from our own RIPE NCC address space, month to month or for a fixed term of up to four years, and they stay registered to us. If you want to own the block in the end, that is lease to own.
Can I sublease the addresses to my own clients?
Yes, without asking us first. You stay responsible to us for how the space is used, so pass on our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy to your clients.
Compare
Buying or leasing: which fits
Both give you usable address space. The difference is capital, commitment, and who holds the registration.
| Buy | Lease | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | From €18 per IP, paid once, plus a yearly registry fee: for PA and PI space always, for legacy space only with RPKI | From €99 a month per /24, with nothing to buy up front |
| Commitment | Permanent: the block is yours to keep, or to sell later | Month to month, or a fixed term of one to four years that then renews three months at a time until you give three full calendar months' notice |
| Registration | Moves to your own RIR account, under your organization in WHOIS | Stays registered to us for the whole lease; we create the ROA for the AS number that announces it, so you can use the block |
| Ready to use | We submit the transfer within hours of payment; the RIPE NCC usually completes it in 1-3 business days, ARIN and APNIC in 2-4 weeks | Usually within hours of payment |
| Best when | You want the addresses on your own registry record for the long term | You need space quickly, are testing a new market, or want to keep capital free |
