Testimonials
What our customers say
In the words of the businesses we have handled transfers, leases and sponsorships for.
We successfully worked with RTM Networks to buy a legacy IPv4/24 and receive a PI IPv6 /48. RTM is our LIR Sponsor and and the whole process was really smooth. Everything worked out the easy way without any troubles in transfer of the IP Ranges. We continue to work with them as LIR sponsor and infrastructure for one of the backbones we are connected now. Special thanks Rick for helping us in setting up the mesh connected backbones and bird. After decades in the business a great experience with cool people. Thank you for doing a great job.
For me, what sets RTM Networks apart is the people. Rick combines professionalism with a genuinely personal approach: he is direct, friendly and someone you can rely on, and he and his team understand this industry and take responsibility for getting things done. Working with them over several years has been a very positive experience, and we have seen it from both sides. Our relationship actually began with RTM buying from us: we sold them several /24 IPv4 prefixes, and every deal was handled so professionally, clearly and responsibly that it was easy for us. Later the tables turned and we leased a /24 from them, a practical and economical solution for our business. Seller first, customer later: either way, I recommend RTM Networks with confidence.
In twelve years of working with Rick, he has never once let me down. Since 2014 he has helped me enormously, in many different ways, and he has always been incredibly helpful, friendly and trustworthy, ready to think along or lend a hand whenever I needed it. When it comes to RIPE, networking or anything else in network infrastructure, his knowledge and experience are excellent, but it is his reliability I value most: he is the one I know I can always count on. Rick and RTM Networks are people you can truly depend on. Rick, thank you for everything over the years. I really appreciate our cooperation and hope we will keep working together for many more.
In about a year as a customer of RTM, starting out through their sister company Bakker IT, I have not run into a single hiccup. Rick is truly dedicated to giving his customers an excellent experience, and you can tell they are after a long-term relationship, with everything in place to make it one. RTM is both my LIR and my lease-to-own sponsor for IPv4 space. Prices are honest, support is great and quick to react, and the addresses are spotless. You can't go wrong with RTM Networks!
Thanks to Rick, our entire network segment was transferred without a single issue. He is a great help with anything to do with RIPE, whether registrations, transfers or routing. We started doing business with RTM Networks over a year ago, when we leased an IPv4 network from them.
I never had to wait two days or more for a reply to a single email. So far I have only dealt with Rick, who answers fast and has been very helpful. Good people, reasonable prices, and everything works. I buy from Austria.
How it works
Transfer can be filed within 24 hours of first contact
From your first message to a signed purchase submitted to the registry.
- Step 1
You get in touch
Tell us the block size, the region you need it in, and what it is for. We then find the block in our own inventory that fits.
- Step 2
Quote and terms
We come back with pricing and terms for the block we have found. This usually takes 1-3 business hours.
- Step 3
Contract
Once agreed, we draw up the purchase agreement between you and us and send it out for signing. Compliance and chain-of-custody checks on the block happen here.
- Step 4
Invoice and payment
When the contract is signed, we send out the invoice.
- Step 5
Transfer filed with the registry
We handle the transfer paperwork and registry updates on your behalf, and submit the transfer within hours of payment. To complete the transfer, the RIPE NCC takes 1-3 business days under normal conditions, and ARIN and APNIC 2-4 weeks.
Indicative timings for straightforward requests, not a guarantee. Larger blocks, incomplete documentation or registry processing can take longer.
Every step in detailIn stock
PA, PI or legacy, as you need it
Everything we sell is in stock in the RIPE NCC region, and we deliver each block as PA, PI or legacy space, whichever you need. If you would rather not run an LIR of your own, we can be your sponsoring LIR.
PA space
Ordinary allocated space from LIR holdings. The straightforward case: a clean transfer under standard registry policy, available in most sizes. PA space can only go to a RIPE NCC member, and the RIPE NCC charges €1,000 to join and €1,800 a year in 2026 and €1,894 from 2027.
PI space
Provider independent space for your own network; it cannot be assigned on to your customers. It needs no RIPE NCC membership: a sponsoring LIR holds the registry relationship, and we can be yours.
Legacy blocks
Pre-RIR assignments that sit under different registry conditions and carry fewer ongoing obligations: no membership and no sponsor needed, though RPKI for them needs a contract.
| RIR | Region | Transfer time |
|---|---|---|
| RIPE NCC | Europe, Middle East, Central Asia | Usually 1-3 business days |
| ARIN | North America, Caribbean | Usually 2-4 weeks |
| APNIC | Asia Pacific | Usually 2-4 weeks |
Our stock is in the RIPE NCC region. We have no ARIN or APNIC stock, but we transfer blocks into those regions where their policies allow.

FAQ
Buying questions
Where can I buy IPv4 addresses?
From organizations that hold space they no longer need. In practice that rarely happens directly. Most sellers work through a broker who finds the counterparty, verifies the block and handles the registry side. Open marketplaces exist too. What matters more than the venue is whether whoever you buy through can show you the block's history and stands behind the transfer. We sell from our own inventory, so you buy straight from the block's holder, without going to market alone.
How do I request IPv4 from a registry directly?
You open an account with the registry covering your region and meet its criteria. In practice this is no longer a route to meaningful quantities. The free pools are effectively gone and what remains is rationed or waitlisted, so almost all address space now changes hands on the transfer market. Tell us your region and we will say plainly whether a direct request is worth attempting or whether a transfer is the faster path.
Which registry regions can I buy in?
Our stock is RIPE NCC space, as PA, PI or legacy. We have no ARIN or APNIC stock, but we transfer blocks into the ARIN and APNIC regions where their policies allow, and handle the inter-registry transfer for you. We do not currently transact in the LACNIC or AFRINIC regions. Conditions differ by region: some require you to document need before approving a transfer, some require an account in good standing first, and the paperwork differs accordingly. We work out which applies to your case before anything is signed.
What should I check before buying a block?
Four things. Who has held it since it was assigned, and whether the seller is genuinely entitled to transfer it. Its current registry status. Whether it was announced by anyone without a claim to it while it sat dormant. And its blocklist history. We run all four as part of every sale, and you see the results before you commit rather than after.
Do I need a sponsoring LIR to buy in the RIPE NCC region?
It depends on what you buy. An allocation (PA) can only go to a RIPE NCC member, so you need an LIR account of your own, for which the RIPE NCC charges €1,000 to join and €1,800 a year in 2026 and €1,894 from 2027. Independent space (PI) can be held through a sponsoring LIR instead, and we can be yours, so the purchase and the registry relationship sit with one party. Legacy space needs neither, though RPKI for it needs a contract.
What if the RIPE NCC does not complete the transfer?
If the RIPE NCC refuses the transfer for a reason on our side, we refund what you paid in full. If it refuses for a reason on yours, for example because your company is not in good standing, we refund what you paid less €500 for our work on the transaction. Tell us before you pay if anything about your company could stand in the way.
